No 2027 subject-wise Smart Syllabus has been officially confirmed for either Class 9 or Class 10 on PECTAA's public notifications page as of this update.
Class 9: a revised Smart Syllabus was notified for the Annual Examination 2026 (7 November 2025). No 2027 Grade 9 notification is verified yet.
Class 10: the 2026 exams followed the old (full) syllabus. For 2027, a new 10th class syllabus has been introduced. No additional 2027 smart-syllabus reduction has been verified.

Every year, when a Smart Syllabus notification is expected, students, parents, and teachers are flooded with unverified PDF files, YouTube thumbnails, and coaching-centre predictions. Many of those turn out to be outdated, mislabelled, or simply fabricated.
This page is a single, honest source: it shows exactly what has been officially notified (with dates and links) and what has not. When PECTAA publishes a new notification, each subject page here is updated with the official document, deleted topics, excluded exercise questions, pairing scheme, and model paper.
Until then, this page and every subject page will clearly say "pending official notification" — because that is the honest, verified position.
What should students do right now?
- Class 9 students: follow the currently prescribed textbook and official curriculum. Do not reduce preparation based on an unverified 2027 PDF.
- Class 10 students: follow the new 10th class syllabus introduced for 2027 in full. Do not skip chapters based on unverified PDFs.
- Keep solving textbook exercises and important conceptual questions.
- Use official pairing schemes and model papers once they are released for the applicable examination.
- Bookmark this page and check it periodically. Each subject card will flip from "Pending" to "Announced" as soon as an official notification is verified.

Has the Smart Syllabus for 2027 been announced?
As of 25 October 2026, no 2027 Smart Syllabus notification has been verified on PECTAA's public Curriculum & Compliance page for either Class 9 or Class 10. This page will show "Announced" on individual subjects once an official notification is issued and verified.
Is the 2026 Smart Syllabus applicable for the 2027 exams?
No automatic carry-over should be assumed. The 2025 PECTAA notification for Grade 9 explicitly covered the Annual Examination 2026. A new examination year requires its own official notification.
What about 10th class? Is there a Smart Syllabus for 2027?
For 10th class, the 2026 exams followed the old (full) syllabus. For 2027, a new 10th class syllabus has been introduced. No separate smart-syllabus reduction for 10th class 2027 has been verified.
Where can I download the official PDF?
The official PDF is only published by PECTAA (and adopted by BISE boards). Each subject page links to the official PECTAA source. We do not host unofficial copies.
