Hira Science Academy is an educational platform based in Daska, Punjab, providing free notes, chapter explanations, solved examples, MCQs, and board-exam preparation resources for students of Class 9 and Class 10.
Hira Science Academy is an educational platform that provides free study resources for Class 9 and Class 10 students β notes, chapter explanations, solved examples, MCQs, and practice material β organized around the Punjab Boards' curricula.
The academy is based in Daska, Punjab, and its content is created and maintained by Muhammad Tayyab (MSc Mathematics), with Chemistry and Biology contributions from Mirza Abid Shabbir Mughal (M.Phil Chemistry). Together they teach Class 9 and 10 students and turn that classroom material into the notes and resources published on this site.
"This site started as a way to organize the notes and explanations I was already preparing for my own students, so more students could use them to revise and practice."
β Muhammad Tayyab
Many Class 9 and 10 students in and around Daska struggle to find organized, easy-to-follow notes for board exam preparation β especially material that walks through solved examples step by step rather than just listing answers. Hira Science Academy was created to put that kind of material online, for free, so students don't have to rely only on classroom time or paid tuition to access clear explanations.
The goal is simple: organize difficult topics clearly, break problems into understandable steps, and give students enough practice material (MCQs, solved exercises, past-paper style questions) to prepare confidently for their exams.
What we're trying to do with this platform, and how we approach it.
To make clear, well-organized study resources freely accessible to Class 9 and 10 students, so they can understand concepts β not just memorize them β and prepare for their Punjab Board exams with confidence, whether or not they can attend extra tuition.
To keep growing this collection of notes and practice material so that more Class 9 and 10 students across Punjab β not just those in Daska β have somewhere reliable to turn when they need a concept explained clearly or a set of exam-style questions to practice with.
The people who write and teach the material behind this site.
M.Phil Chemistry. Teaches Chemistry and Biology and contributes explanations and practice material for those subjects on the site, aiming to connect scientific concepts to everyday examples students already understand.
MSc Mathematics. Creates and maintains Hira Science Academy, and teaches Class 9 and 10 Mathematics. Writes the site's Mathematics notes, solved exercises, and MCQs based on that classroom teaching.
A quick note on where the material on this site comes from.
Notes, chapter explanations, solved examples, MCQs, and study guides on this site are written by Muhammad Tayyab and Mirza Abid Shabbir Mughal, based on their own teaching. This is original Hira Academy content.
Where a page references official textbooks, board syllabus documents, or past papers, that material belongs to its respective publisher or board (e.g. the Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board or the relevant BISE). Hira Academy does not claim ownership of that material β our notes are a companion to it, not a replacement for it.
What we try to do with every notes page and resource we publish.
Content is written by subject specialists (MSc Mathematics, M.Phil Chemistry) who teach these exact subjects to Class 9 and 10 students, rather than generic or outsourced content.
Notes, solved exercises, and MCQs are broken into understandable steps rather than just presenting final answers, and are updated as the syllabus changes.
Material is organized around the Punjab Boards' paper patterns, with a pairing scheme and past-paper style questions so students can practice in a format close to the real exam.
Free notes and resources currently available on the site, by class.
You can also browse the Study Blog for exam-preparation articles, or head to the homepage notes section to see everything organized by class.
