Preparation checklist

- ☐ Solve past papers of your own board and study the pairing scheme.
- ☐ Start with numerical subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting.
- ☐ Practise English grammar and Urdu essays regularly.
Why dates can change
Boards may revise schedules because of Ramadan, Eid, weather or administrative decisions. In 2026, all nine Punjab boards postponed the exams originally scheduled for 3 March and moved Matric exams to 27 March after Eidul Fitr. Intermediate exams began on 20 May. This is why you should wait for the official notification before fixing travel or study plans.
Punjab boards coordinate major exam calendars through the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, so Matric and Inter dates, results and fee deadlines are often announced together.
